Solid as a rock

This is my second PMG tripod. The TR424L is the tripod for windy conditions, feeding grounds, and when walking distance isn't significant. It's the tripod for use with heavy R3 + 600mm f4 equipment. I've had other brands, equally or heavier, but never as solid. Recently, one of the sections failed, and I had no problems with its replacement under warranty, no ridiculous questions, or hidden clauses. This is my general-use tripod, as it provides the security and solidity required for my equipment in the changing weather conditions and terrain of Costa Rica's tropical forests. A great product for those of us who are demanding and don't sacrifice quality and solidity for anything.

Fantastic Tripod

This tripod is a beast - extremely well made, top quality materials and finishes. Very sturdy but amazingly lightweight for what it does. Quite a difference in reducing vibration from my previous tripod.
