Best strength versus weight ratio?

I'm shooting a lot of 4 minutes exposure images and have had serious issues in the past with tripods not being stable enough to give sharp images. The TR343 is bought as a hiking tripod as I need something that is as strong as possible and weighs less than 1.7 kilograms. Once I learned that Pro Media Gear had changed the leg angles to 24 degrees, the strength of this tripod should reach above 2,000 Nm as per inputs from the website "thecentercolumn.com". This is the strength I need with the lenses I use when hiking. I didn't find any other tripod that could match it and at the same time have fast damping. For me the purchase was a no-brainer based on my needs versus the product facts available. I'm yet to test the tripod in the field but first impressions is that it feels very sturdy and very well made. All tubes fits nicely. Machining is well done and the tripod feels nice and solid.
