A great way to mount a strobe

I got this to use with a profoto a2, it handles the job well, the only way I can think of that it could be improved would be if you could lock it in between its portrait and landscape orientations, but that would be asking a lot I’m sure, and plausibly an offset arm or bracket could achieve that off center positioning for the strobe. I think the way it’s designed to center your strobe does make sense from a standpoint of weight distribution for hand held photography so I suppose for a more off camera position a light stand may be a better option. That having been said I think this will be great in run and gun scenarios like events, where I want a soft fill flash, I have space to incorporate a small softbox and it’s all contained to the camera body with this bracket.
