Bitter and bland

I make matcha daily, so I have a pretty good sense of what I enjoy. Unfortunately, I found this one to be bland with a noticeable bitterness. I originally purchased one a few years ago thinking it was a solid everyday option, but revisiting it now, my taste has definitely changed. I really enjoy Junbi at their stores, but I prefer not to rely on sugar or sweeteners just to make a matcha taste good. I want to appreciate the matcha itself, especially because I respect the people behind the brand. That said, this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. At this price point, it didn’t feel worth it.
