Quality knife, reasonable price

I’ve been looking for a reasonably priced carbon steel full tang knife for hunting season. This appears to be good quality, and the handle is comfortable enough. It wasn’t as sharp out of the box as I expected from the reviews, so I will have to sharpen it a bit. For the price, I won’t mind if it gets a few dings or stains (as I would be with more expensive wooden handled knives).

Have not yet used in the field. The knife has a very good feel to it. It appears to be of high quality and workmanship. I hope to see more Beaver Craft products. Support the Ukrainian people in any way you can.

Great $40 knife

Can’t beat $40 for a knife. I gave it a couple of licks on my steel and it is as sharp as any of my high end knives in the drawer. The 1065 steel sharpens easily and won’t be as brittle as others for a workhouse knife. I am interested in how long is stays sharp. Good blade design for hunting and general work. Sheath is a little light. I put two coats of tru-oil on the walnut handle and mineral oil on the blade and good to go. I also like supporting a Ukrainian business. They need all the help we can give them. Hope you expand the BeaverCraft line.
