Works Great!

Once you plug it in you just have to click on the icon that appears on your desktop. I have found that you have to reboot your machine if you plug in to a different screen/setup, but it's not a big deal. Glad to have dual monitors again. Thank you!

Does not work well for a rotated monitor setup

You cannot get the same resolution for your monitors if one of the monitors is rotated. I have two-27" 4K monitors (DELL P2715Q). One of them is set up to be rotated 90 degrees, the other is standard rotation. It is impossible to work with with my extended monitors being different resolutions. The only resolutions available for my standard monitor is are: 3840x2160 (which is way too small), 1920x1080 (low res), 1280x720 (low res). I have my rotated monitor and built-in retina display on the option right of "More Space" which does not match any of the resolutions available in my display settings. I am returning the adapter.

Does the job at a decent price

It works really well, it was great to get my dual display monitors back. Hard to believe Apple didn't have native support for dual monitors in the M1. It runs pretty hot, which is a little disconcerting. The price also seems a bit steep considering there are no other ports in the device. It does seem to be the cheapest good option though. Overall I would recommend it.
