Works pretty well for indoor growing

I grew this in trays of soil along with Tom Thumb and some kind of red endive in my indoor winter garden under grow lights. It did pretty well. It was productive and happy. It is a compact plant so it did great in my limited space. This is a great lettuce to mix with others in a salad because it is very pretty, but its flavor is not my favorite on its own. It also hosted aphids while the other lettuces I grew alongside it did not. They were not difficult to manage with soapy water, but they seemed to favor this one over the others. I ended up putting it outside a little early because our winter has been so mild, and it is thriving. The aphids have disappeared from my grow room and the cold nights seem to have killed off the worst of them on the lolita. Overall glad I grew it. I will probably use it again next winter.
