Lime Delight Premium Sun Coleus

Bright and beautiful

Germination was 90%, good enough for me. Seeds are pelleted, easy to see and plant. Germination was slow. Growth of seedlings was slow the first month. Suddenly they developed into charming small compact seedlings so dense they looked like little lime green chia-pets. I'm in Maine 5a and we had a cool spring, so I had to hold them in a little greenhouse before final planting. They did not like the ground up here so much, preferred being in pots. Two have thrived in the ground after it became warm and look charming but they are smaller than their brethren in the window boxes. Gosh they are beautiful! The color is so pure and the leaves thick, dense and unblemished. Neither have they bolted. In pots I have them as companions to red petunias and Watermelon Premium Sun coleus, also delightful, also bought from this company. In the ground one is in front of a dark yew another at the base of a small fruit tree in the sunny side garden. It makes me happy to look at them. I’ve bought from Pinetree for years and it is always a pleasure.

Nice accent plant

I plant Coleus as accent plants among darker green plants and flowering perennials and this color stands out. Thank you!
