Oilskin & Wool Ground Cloth - Brown - Bushcraft Spain

It seems like it would work well. Used it as extra padding on my recent trip to Canada, to be a bit more comfortable. It did have an oily residue which washed off easily.

but way to nice to be used as a ground cloth by itself... I use a cheap poly tarp under it to keep it out of the mud... keeps you off of that cold ground... doubles as a tough warm blanket...

Bushcraft Spain Oilskin wool lined ground cloth

Quality. Stiching good and tight. Seams even. Edges clean and square. Corners reinforced. Wool is thin, oilcloth is thin, combined makes an easily packable setup. Used under my ground pad twice so far, and experienced performance as expected. Thinking one more "oiling" is in order to optimize moisture control. Very pleased with the purchase, even tho the price is high. By the time these become available again i may have saved up enough to purchase another.
