Excellent grinder but a little messy

Much better grinder than the Breville it replaced but there are a few manageable issues. The portafilter holder is adequate, but only just. Being a flat metal plate, the portafilter can slip around and if not set properly can fall off. I might dip it in some rubber-like coating and see if I can fix this soon. You really need to get a funnel for the portafilter too! The grinder gives you a very consistent grind, but filling the basket means some will fall over the side. This was "captured" on the breville, but there's no similar area under the Silenzio so it goes to the counter (or plate under the grinder in my case). Minor but annoying. Consistent, quiet and fast and miles ahead of the unit it replaced! Ordered on New Year's Eve and got it three days later. Great service from Chris's Coffee and with the Silvano Evo, everything is Italian!

Simple, well built grinder

Very nice grinder. I love the simplicity and it delivers an accurate dose time after time. Great pairing with my Quick Mill Andreja.

Quiet and efficient

This grinder is perfect for espresso to french press and everything in between.
