I used an existing hole from one of the smokers handles, widened the hole a tiny bit to accept the bolt provided, and my ThermoWorks dot’s magnet fits perfectly. I can use the ambient temp probe and the meat temp probe now.

Much Appreciated Accessory

I use a Thermoworks Smoke for my temp monitoring and have just been sitting it on the ground until I found this thermometer holder. It is heavier that expected, in a good way. Do note that if you are using the stock Weber cover or a standard bullet smoker cover, it will not fit with this in place. I had an extra kettle cover and that works. Having a slot to hang a brush is an added convenience as well. This is a great, simple USA made accessory that is worth the conveniences it provides.
