This tetrahedral 5x5 cube is fun
This puzzle turns better than the 4-layered version, which is expected since the middle layer pieces aren't hidden. If you know how to solve a 5x5 cube and a Jing Pyraminx, you can pretty much figure out how to solve this on your own. This puzzle is both more and less fun to solve than the 4-layered version. It's more fun because I know there's never a chance for parity and it's easier to turn than the 4-layered version. But the centers make it a little less fun for me. Because each face is a triangle, there are certain cases that don't work like they do on a square face, so sometimes I end up just trying a bunch of things until I get the right case on the last 2 centers. The edges don't change my enjoyment too much since they're very easy. Overall, this is a fun puzzle, I might consider getting the 6-layered and 7-layered versions of this puzzle in the future.

New favorite puzzle
This has become my new favorite puzzle to play around with. It's no speed cube for sure. Locks up a lot going fast, but out of the box it's nice a loose with a slightly sandy feel. Just the right level of challenge to solve for the first time without a tutorial too.

I like it!
Well-made puzzle, turns very easily without snags and lock-ups. It's not *super* challenging but there are a few things about it that can trip you up, even if you're already quite comfortable solving a 5x5x5 cube or a Master Pyraminx. Happy to have this in my collection!
