The start

The Beartooth is what started it all for me back in 2020 or so. I say that however, unfortunately, it wasn’t the first model I purchased back then. Guess I was intimidated by its shape or the unknown of its size. 8 MKC purchases and six years later I’m finally a proud owner of a Beartooth. It’s now a staple in my gear bag and has made my Eberlestock Modframe its home with dreams of a chance to hunt in Montana. I will happily use it this deer season in Georgia but I dream of a MT hunt and hope my new Beartooth will find its first blood on a MT Elk. Weight, balance and engineering on this knife is unmatched.

This is got to be for sure one of my favorite knives I got it just in time for the bear season. This knife was specifically made for skinning bears, and like all my other knives from the Montana knife company it did not disappoint. The sharpness is incredible. The angle of attack on an open hide thick greasy you know a bear hide absolutely amazing. Great job guys! Fig

Great Knife.

Great knife, it is an oddball size, not quite as big as I was picturing in my head, but a great size for the work it does. It is ridiculously sharp. The sheath for this knife is incredible. I was curious how it would work, and it just does. The knife fits perfectly and is simple to get out. Like my other MKC knives, great fit and finish. I would maybe like a slightly bigger handle, but I have oven mit size hands. For the knife’s purpose, the handle is probably appropriate.
