nice to have variety, broad taste spectrum, storage times and sugar content. Pie, root vegetable complement, stew additive, oven baked with yams, covers a lot of wants but you don't have to plant 1/2 an acre to get the spread--variety is key (no one wants to eat butternut only for 4 months straight)

Can't wait to see if they propagate!

They are tucked in our freezer, to be taken out next spring! Will update this next spring!
