Well made, breathable, and a far better value than what I paid in a tourist shop.

I bought this after a straw hat I picked up from a shop in Colorado turned out to be a one-use wonder. That one cost me $10 to $20 more than this, looked sharp, and I liked it, but I could tell it would fall apart the second I wore it out to do yard work. So I got home, ordered this one, and it's been great ever since. The velcro adjustment dials in the fit perfectly. The open weave on the crown breathes really well and keeps you cool, though fair warning, it lets mosquitoes in too. If you're prone to bug bites on a bald head like I am, plan on covering up with some repellent. I did see a few reviews complaining about the crown falling apart, but as the guy at the Colorado shop told me, you never handle a straw hat by the crown, always by the brim, unless it's a crushable made for it. I've followed that rule and seen zero misshaping or wear on the crown after a few weeks of use. Feels like it's going to hold up well, and I can't wait to put it through North Texas 100-degree summers. Five stars. Well made, breathable, and a far better value than what I paid in a tourist shop

Good Summer Hat

I love the look and color of this hat overall and the fit is good. The breath ability is nice although I’m not sure about durability and longevity. Less structure compared to other styles so best to be extra careful with this one. My only complaint is at the price of $117.00 dollars I think you could have used a real leather band and not a plastic concho
