My old straw hat is probably 20 years old, crushed and flattened out. I was really hesitant about buying a new hat if I could not try it on in person before my purchase. So many companies with similar style hats and color. Took a big leap of faith (in my opinion) in choosing American Hat Makers. Hat fit good right out of the box. A little reshaping and tightening and I'm good to go. At 74 and with congestive heart failure, chances are this will be my last straw hat. Happy I chose your company. Thank you. Joe Davala

I love this hat. Perfect fit right out of the box. Good quality and comfortable. I'm going to replace the string with the big old bow on the back with a proper hat band. The hat was well packed for shipping and it was delivered timely with no damage.
