I have a trailblazer jacket I love it so I bought the luna jacket for our daughter-in-law in Alaska for air and water resistance, warmth and able to take the hood off. I will be buying a trailblazer jacket for my son in Alaska, so

It’s cute and all. I like it for the most part, but it’s extremely stiff. I hope it relaxes in time. I ordered one size up and the fit seems good. 5’5 - 150lbs. It does shield from the wind. It’s good on the days that my Carhartt Montana is too warm. I kinda wish there were more pockets. These pockets are hard to get into, but I’m hoping if it unstiffens that it’ll be better.

I live in Ontario Canada so I was looking for a very warm and durable winter coat. I like how the Luna jacket is long enough to keep me warm but also has side snaps for more movement. The hood is taking getting used to since the "fur" is very fluffy. The coat is warm and waterproof, which is exactly what I needed. I was comfortable doing outdoor chores in -30 C for a short time. I think the size Medium for me is maybe a bit too snug but the large would have been too loose and uncomfortable. I'm hoping the fabric is just stiff because it's new, and will soften and become more comfortably fitting over time. I like that the full hood can come off, as well as just the fur trim. I like how there are deep pockets that secure with snaps, and also an interior zippered pocket. But overall I'm pleased with this purchase and would buy another Outback coat.
