BA Hip Pack

I set it aside: awkward.

The pack is built like a tank. I wanted to use it to hold puncture repair gear on bike workouts and rides. But it irritated my right hip when I raised my right knee when pedaling.There was a 3" firm foam cylinder between the phone pocket and my hip: I removed it by cutting a hole in its containment fabric. A tightening strap buckle was the next irritant, in the same place. What it tightened eluded me. Rather than finding a way to remove it, and it's companion on the left side, I ditched the pack. It rubbed me the wrong way. It had zero appeal. The BOA tightener wasn't an irritant but I found it irritating too. The pack is better suited to fastening a target to a fence post: you know, so there's no way the fencepost could move.

BA Hip Pack

Awesome pack, I like the “double” retention of the Velcro and buckle along with the tightening side straps. This helps keep the pack in place with no sag at the hips, something I have experienced with several other hip packs. The pack is well thought out and nicely constructed. Still looking forward to installing the water bladder once they are back in stock.
