Light, versatile, and aesthetic
While Snow Peak indicates the backpack has a capacity of 25L and another claims 30L, it holds considerably more than one might expect. I've been using this backpack daily for my work-related travels and commutes, and it comfortably fits everything I need. To offer some insight, in the main compartment I carry: 1 Aer Cable Kit 2 1 Aer Dopp Kit 2 1 Aer Slim Pouch 1 Peak Design Tech Pouch Roost Laptop Stand Keychron k6 Keyboard in a pouch MacBook Pro 14 inch within a Wandrd Laptop Sleeve Even with these items, there's ample space left—enough for perhaps another 1.5 Peak Design Tech Pouches(dimension wise). Moreover, I've utilized a compression packing cube to store a t-shirt, lightweight pants, and a windbreaker in the front compartment, all while having the aforementioned items in the main section. The top two compartments are reserved for items I frequently reach for before leaving my house, such as keys, a microfiber cloth, headphones, earbuds, and a packable blanket from Matador, among others. Considering the items I've packed, the backpack is quite hefty, weighing between 22 to 25 lbs without accounting for the backpack's own weight. The weight can occasionally increase if I attach my camera to the harness. However, the backpack's harness system is robust and effectively supports this weight. The inclusion of a chest belt and waist belt aids in distributing the load efficiently. While I haven't embarked on extended hikes with it, I've found it comfortable during 2 to 3-hour hikes, especially when I've also included a couple of water bottles and energy bars in the waist belt. My primary suggestion concerning this backpack pertains to the fabric. Although I've only used it for a month and it feels robust, I'm aware of more durable materials available. Introducing a variant of this remarkable backpack, particularly one made of x-pac for its waterproof qualities and likely enhanced durability, would be beneficial. Should an x-pac version be released, I'd purchase it without hesitation.
