I have grown this variety for several years. I love that you can use Roundup to control most weeds, the Bt takes care of the worms. Sometimes a worm will eat through the husk. Very seldom does a worm get to the corn from the silk. Biggest pest is raccoons. They will start attacking it before it is ready to harvest. I have to spray at least every other day with hot pepper spray. The best part is how good it tastes. I usually eat an uncooked ear each morning for breakfast. Once picked the sweetest last.

Obsession II’s Bt event not for earworm

I grow Bt sweet corn to prevent ear worms. I can’t spray it. Bayer’s event is ineffective on ear worms. Worms in every ear unless I spray it. The Syngenta VIP event is very effective on ear worm. The Bayer sweet corn is worthless to me. I will never buy Bayer Bt sweet corns again.
