I used this cutting board daily for the last two weeks. It gives you a great feedback when cutting and it feels like cutting on wood - very good! I’m fully convinced that this cutting board will last the next ten years.

The cutting board I have always wanted

This is the cutting board that I always wanted! It is expensive, sure but having finally purchased one after years of thinking about it, I feel it is worth it. I cook a lot and I am already enjoying cutting and preparation more. I can chop, slice and use a rocking motion - any technique I like - with ease. Prepared ingredients lift off the board's smooth surface easily with a knife edge or fingers and the surface cleans easily. The board has just the right feel and grip for all knife techniques I use although I have noticed that I am tending to slice back more and rock cut less. I am confident this board will preserve my knife edges well. My only wish is that there was also a smaller brother to purchase so that I wouldn't have to get this rather large and heavy board out all the time for smaller tasks...! Purchase was easy, shipping was super fast and the price even with expensive shipping worked out to be the same as purchasing from a local retailer - where the size I wanted was always out of stock anyway.
