Worth the breaking in period
Took me a while to form a full opinion of these shoes but overall review: they were what I was looking for! I live in a big city and do a LOT of walking and needed sneakers that would last. So far, they're holding up great. I like the overall style (of course), that they're easy to clean (thank goodness), and that the tongue doesn't slide around like my last pair of sneakers. I normally wear a 7-7.5, so I sized up to an 8 and they fit great. Just roomy enough for comfort with various sock thicknesses. My main con is that the back pull tab took a while to break in. Would not recommend jumping into no-show socks with these sneakers because they did rub the back of my foot quite aggressively. Now that they ARE worn in though - very comfortable! Tiny con is that the "Nothing New" brand lettering on the tongue is already rubbing off, but I'm not actually big on logos, so it makes no real difference to me. I came for a classic white leather sneaker and I got it, so I'm overall happy with my purchase.

Great shoes, but…
Beautiful shoes, the sole is very comfortable, but the back digs into my heel and causes blisters. I’ve tried using steam to ply them outward, but it doesn’t seem to help. I end up having to use a few bandaids to provide some cushion, which is okay, but not a long term solution when you’re at work and have to stop mid-day to find a few.

Pretty good
I love the canvas shoes from Nothing New; I have weird wide feet and bunions, but I don’t need to break in the canvas shoes at all. They’re perfect from the start. The leather shoes will take some breaking in. They’re not painful they way Nikes are (that break-in process is very slow) but the leather Nothing New will require some time before they’re as comfy as the canvas shoes. They are exactly as pictured, very pretty tennis shoes, with white grommets and just a hint of detailing. If these break in well, I may try those rose gold ones…
