Fits well, but embroidered area uncomfortable

Got the cream color in a M which is a more slim fit for me. L would be more baggy and comfy but I wanted M to look good. The embroidered area is a bit tougher on the skin and I can really feel it during normal wear. Also may be a specific issue to cream color or being a tighter fit but you can also see the outline of the embroidery stabilizing fabric. May try to trim it down but am afraid of ruining the shirt
