Ezra Arthur Natural Horsehide strop

Excited to have finally made this purchase

I have been planning to buy a strop for some time now, and finally made the plunge. The guys at the Edmonton store were excellent!! They gave me a demonstration and even let me practice a bit before deciding which strop to get!

Really impressed

I took a chance on this strop but I’m really happy I did. Both the leather and the canvas are soft and of great quality. My other cheaper strop by another brand is definitely not as good as this one. I also notice after stripping on this strop my shaves are smoother. The handles are comfortable and the from what I can see it’s well a well made strop.

Works well

I cheaped out with a lower price strop at first, which was maybe good to learn how to use it. But after I got this my stopping technique changed quite a lot. I think I do better on this one and my razor seems to stay sharper. So I am glad I got it.
