Such a fun keyboard!
I wasn't sure what keyboard to order as I've never had so many different choices! I love this one. The touch is great, the clicking is nice and the colors are fun! I type most of the day for work so this really a great choice of keyboard. I love it!

impressive
Had the K10 for more than a month so far. I'm a full stack programmer so I *do* type a lot in a day. Average like 30k keystrokes; highs as 55k (record) and some lows at 12k depending of the meetings and else. I wanted to take my take for the evaluation and this review. The quality of the keycaps is excellent, not too much wear so far, ergonomics took more time than expected for me to catch up; was used to an ergonomic K860 for quite a while. Got three things worth mentionning. 1- if you plan to switch from wired to bluetooth often, like you have two workstations and plans to switch from one machine to another like 20 times per day, I'm sorry but that little side switch ain't gonna hold for long. It feels too delicate and not enough robust for long term abuse. 2- The wooden palm rest that I bought for the K10 is having two slip pads under; one at each extremity. Thus, after long use, it ends up having the wrist pad bended in the middle, having a touch contact with the desk under in the weakest point; an easy improvement would be to have three anti-slip pads under the wrist pad; one at each ends and one in the middle. 3- Had to turn off the keyboard OFF / ON to reset it; somewhere after two weeks of usage sometimes it freezes and is not viewable from both my mac and my pc here; bluetooth on both. Now, is it the firmware, is it the workstations, I don't know (haven't updated the firmware if there is an update available for it). All in all, for the price, it is an excellent keyboard; excellent touch; key caps not flimpsy and shaky, very good looking and a joy to use everyday. There is no doubt for me that the K10 is a classic that will stay; and I have no holds for recommending one to anybody.

Great Keyboard For Price
I got this keyboard to support working from home after I got fed up with the work supplied keyboard. It's great, has excellent typing feel for work uses, and the hotswap model will let me easily repair it should I damage it in my engineering job. That said, there are a few items I'd caution people about: *There basically isn't any good travel case for this outside of possibly wrapping the box it came in in a towel, and given my occupation I actually need a numpad while still potentially having to travel to test locations. *While it hasn't happened again, I did have it stop taking inputs while remaining on until I hard power cycled a computer while it was plugged in via USB once. *No key rebinding software. While community efforts to bring the other K series into the VIA framework are chugging along, this model is annoyingly neglected *Nitpick: Spacebar sounds kind of hollow and ping-y. Get some foam or rubber if it bothers you. It's fixable thankfully, and it won't be a problem for most. Overall: This is a very good mechanical keyboard in terms of value, but with some minor concerns to be aware of. The Gateron brown switch version is a great balance between a highly functional office board and a gaming capable one. I recommend the hotswap version for user serviceablity, especially if you don't usually use a soldering iron regularly. The cost savings is not worth the hassle. Either mess around with flashing community firmware on the K8 or, if you can wait, pre-order a K8 Pro while picking up a numpad if key rebinding is a must for your use case however. There doesn't seem to be much community interest in making community compatibility with VIA for the K10.
