Black Cod - Large Fillet (Nobu Cut)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making the seafood desert I live in simply vanish!! Dinner party for eight with one pescatarian and determined to serve skin on cod..... thank you e-fish for making that possible! The comments from friends included a lot of wows and amazings, culminating with a 'best cod I have ever eaten' proclamation, with others chiming in. Crisp skin and a buttery, moist and delicate flesh (not typical descriptors for cod). Absolutely spectacular. I'm already planning my next seafood based dinner around all the other things I found on e-fish! Oh, and as for the order and shipping experience - one email, and Jessica responded (almost immediately) with an answer to the only question I had... a few days later a perfectly packed box of Black Cod was at my door. The entire experience was perfect. I’ve added a photo to the review…. the sauce is a red wine reduction that, for some reason jut looks ketchup red. First time, and to be returning, very happy customer!

Amazing cod. Received two fresh fillets. So flaky and delicious – better texture than if it was previously frozen. It even held up nicely in the sous vide. We will order again soon.

I know a lot of professional chefs. And they all recommend E-Fish for the freshest fish. And they are correct. There is no other place to get this kind of high quality fish.
