Lychee - Brewster Variety

The Brewster Lychees are my absolute favorite! They are extremely sweet, juicy, fragrant, flavorful. The Mauritius is too tangy. Sweetheart Lychees are very difficult to purchase and they are supposed to be the sweetest but there is a slightly bitter aftertaste. Emperor lychees are huge and satisfying to have so much fruit, but the flavor is not as amazing and memorable like the Brewster. Brewster season lasts like 2 weeks, which is so cruel because the fruit is sooooo good.
