Loved the pattern. My aunt made these for my children and we needed a couple of replacements. I was so happy that I found the pattern so I could make them myself.

Christmas Tree Stocking Pattern

I had this pattern years ago and knit several stockings using it. Then a friend who had three married children but no grandchildren asked me to knit three Christmas stockings as a hint for grandchildren. The next year she and her husband had three grandchildren. Last year I knit a stocking for their 14th grandchild! And I have orders for four stockings for family members this year. I don't know what I would do without this pattern. I had misplaced it and was grateful I could still get it this year. I decorate the trees with small ornaments and lights available in several stores at Christmas time. Mary Maxim's pattern has made many families very happy with stockings from this pattern...and I love getting pictures of them hung across a mantle.
