Relatively inexpensive, and an easy way to ensure the longevity of my espresso machine, these strips worked very well. There are quite a few of them in the packet, so I can keep tabs on the water hardness, while using the Oscar pouch in the reservoir.

Great water filter and softener

Water softening and filtration has been an terrific improvement to our drinking water and coffee water. Much better than the SubZero filter that pasta 1/6 as long and costs more as well. Easy to install.
