Great jeans, bad smell

I love almost everything about these jeans. The fit is perfect. I am 5'5". With a sneaker I get a bit of a casual break in the leg or a dressier straight fall with a heel. I have an 8" waist to hip ratio and the fit in the waist is perfect. I am a size 14 in most brands, and between 12 and 14 at US. I'm glad I took the website and review advice and ordered the 12. The fabric is substantial and the stretch makes it very comfortable. The only downside is the strong chemical smell, I assume from a mold and insect retardant. I have washed them twice, sprayed with alcohol and hung outside in sun for two days an it is only now starting to fade.

Have worn almost every day since they arrived

I was looking for jeans that don't brush the ground when I wear flats and these are the perfect length. I am between sizes and sized down, definitely size down on these. Very comfortable and fairly wide leg at ankles (for straight leg jeans anyway).

Great quality. I love these high-rise jeans and that they come in the perfect inseam. So tired of jeans that are too long dragging on the floor.
