I used this vest in snow conditions for my GSPs. The jacket could be more snug in the waist for pointer breeds. Also the bottom portion of the jacket gets soaked from snow melting from body heat. The lower portion of the jacket needs to be waterproof. Dogs get cold from the soaked/wet lower portion while hunting. So I would not buy any more until this is changed. Wish this wasn't being discontinued!

Thought I found the perfect solution for my dog who's afraid of water and seems to always be shivering whenever he gets wet. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try this out as his size is (XXSmall) is sold out and the item won't be restocked since it is being discontinued. I'm so sad as I can't find anything else like it on the market, and I really hope Ruffwear decides to replace it with something similar. Otherwise, the product seems well made.

Best Water Apparel

So well made, fits my 38 pound tripawd like a glove. Keeps most sand out, warms, and protects from sun. Well worth the cost. I just hose it off and hang to dry. Never smells . Stretchy and is very comfy. I just put a rubber band around the extra sleeve on inside and it eliminated the hanging sleeve. Highly recommend for all swim dogs and especially tripawd.
