I'm new to sketching/drawing and I found the tips very useful. As a beginner, I'm starting from the beginning and this handbook provided the information I need to purchase the correct tools.

It covered a lot of things I had questions about. So far I have been using your jumpstart hedgehog and pink rose lesson books to get used to using various colors and layering. I am enjoying it! I learned about colored pencils in a short class provided by AARP. This is how I came to know about your books. I will probably continue with the jumpstart series for now and then who knows? I want to try my own creation at some point.
