I sent a quick email asking if they could refund me whatever the sale price difference was, within a day I was refunded the 83$ back to my card. A beautiful and well-made vise

It is great when something you purchase is even better than expected, and that is what this vise is. Simple, elegant, and sturdy are terms to describe it. I am starting work on a new bench specifically for this vise and look forward to using it for many years.

Quite heav6 duty

Just purchased the wagon vise. For 20 years I have had my woodworking hobby. I have been using a very basic rough bench that I discovered had limits affecting the hybrid approach I have been wanting to using. I’ve researched tail vises for 6 months. I have followed RC for years and am impressed with his patient skill. Finally I’ve purchased a stock of walnut to build my “forever” bench. After getting the lumber into my shop this is the next major purchase. There are many choice of vises to use in the tail position - I’m greatly impressed with the simplicity and heavy duty construction on this RC wagon vise. I have many months work ahead of me as I build my bench and I’m in no rush.
