So excited to find this size!
I'm thrilled to be able to find this large of a size of powdered rennet so we're not constantly having to reorder or go through a ton of teeny containers. I strongly prefer the powder over the liquid because it's easier to measure and doesn't spill as easily.

Excellent Rennet for all Cheesemaking!
I have been making cheese for over 10 years now with milk from our family cow. This is the highest quality rennet I have found. It is 100% natural, non-GMO (not true of many liquid rennets) and is much easier to use than tablets (as there is no need to break into halves, quarters, etc.). It is well-worth the cost and keeps very well in the freezer. I make cheese 2 times per week, with about 8 gallons of milk per cheesemaking, and a 100 g container lasts around a full lactation cycle. The little measuring spoons from New England Cheesemaking are very helpful--a smidgen for 1 gallon of milk, a pinch for 2 gallons, a dash for 4, and a tad for 8. This is a great product from a great and ethical company.
