RBG 934 Disc Blade Grinder/Sharpener with 9" wheel, 3/4 HP | RBG934

This thing is a BEAST!

Decided to buy a high quality mower blade sharpener after having my blades "professionally" sharpened at a large power equipment store/shop for $10 ea. They just ran them across a bench grinder and did not even balance them. In the past I have sharpened them myself with a bench grinder. This just takes too much time and leaves a mess to clean up. As I have gotten older value my time more and don't want to waste it with the wrong tool for the job. Researched a several different options and settled on a standalone set up like this rather than one that you provide the grinder for. The RBG in my opinion is the best value to quality option and made in the U.S.A. Was torn as to whether to get the 712 or the 934. I am so glad I got the 934 as this thing is a BEAST. Immediately upon setting it up sharpened six blades that were pretty dull in about 30 minutes. Not once did this thing even grunt while sharpening these. Also purchased the grit collector and it was certainly a good purchase too. It cut way down on clean up. If you are thinking about purchasing one of these sharpeners my advice is don't hesitate. ordered Saturday > shipped Monday > delivered Thursday (New York > Georgia)

Takes too long

I bought this hoping it would make it easier and quicker but it actually takes me longer than my traditional blade grinder. I feel it needs a bigger motor. Also the blade guide seems too small, you have to hold the blade at an odd angle to get the tip sharpened. The wheel doesn’t seem like it will last very long.
