MAXPRO Smart Portable Gym System (SC)

I love the concept but not the execution….

I was so excited to try this!! The biggest feature that stood out was how heavy the weight went up to. However, what wasn’t mentioned, was that when you do single leg or arm workouts you can only go up to a level 4 which is 10 pounds… that’s a huge disappointment for me. Also, getting used to concentric weight training only is a bit different, especially with deadlifts, I don’t feel as strong as with a barbell. The cables also tend to struggle with certain moves where they catch or grind and I’m afraid I may break them…. I was so excited for this product but unfortunately it fell short for me.

Maxpro missing features

I would love to have the weight settings with detents as well as markings on the ropes i.e. one 1 inch or 6 inches for example. Would make it a lot easier set up for different exercises.

What an awesome home gym!!!! I really really wish I had known about this before I brought yet another set of adjustable dumbbells. AS I am getting older and I am cerebral palsy it is increasing harder to lift and carry dumbbells. I know do not have that problem. Maxpro has made exercising fun again. Thank you!!!!
