A few years ago a buddy recommended tenkara to me and suggest I checkout DRAGONtail. I wish I had listened to him sooner! I snagged this rod for Christmas and after one outing with my wife I ordered her one too. Super easy to set up and so much fun to fish with. You can feel little fish fighting and the bigger they get the more fun! Zero regrets about this rod, I'm thinking about getting more tenkara rods to have for friends and I'm struggling to see why I wouldn't just keep getting this one

Ordered a new rod after demoing the same a friend had. The rod came in with a defective tip of which Dragontail immediately replaced once notified.

Great rod! The 6:4 action is great on smaller fish but has already handles up to 20" plus Rainbows...Another bonus is being able to get replacement section. Yes if you fish 180 days a year plus you will eventualy break a section by accident. But it's worth the fun of Tenkara fishing .
