I'm grateful for Dragontail Tenkara company...
Dragontail has great rods and plenty of accessories for my Tenkara adventures. Their service is fast and accurate and I appreciate them very much. I own a total of 6 Tenkara Rods and 2 are Dragontail rods and I use them frequently. (Did you know that "Tenkara" translates as "From Heaven" or "From the Sky". ) Makes perfect sense.

Perfect
I ordered the 4.5 Orange to use with my Daiwa Keiryu X 36. It casts a 15' line terminated with 4.5' of Maxima 5# line without any issues. That's really saying something b/c I've struggled with casting level lines up till now!

Light weight level line
I was looking for some light weight level line and the Nissin line had some 2.5 in stock. I usually fish with the 3.5 or the 3 level lines but recently started to taper my line by using the 3.5 then in the last 1 third tying on 3. I found this to work pretty well and decided to go with a triple taper , 3.5...to 3... to 2.5... I use different colors and lengths . Still use about 2/3 of the 3.5 then split the last third between the 3 and 2.5. Why you may ask. The 3.5 helps with the casting.. the progressively thinner 3 to 2.5 are different colors giving a built in depth gauge and the thinner 2.5 is less drag in the water and less intrusive. Of course Nissin products are very high quality.
