MouthShield

I am a mouth breather that started on CPAP therapy a year ago. I had numerous issues with dry mouth and finding the right mask. Since using the MouthShield my dry mouth is completely gone and I have been able to use a smaller mask. My only issue is that sometimes my inner upper lip rubs against the shield while wearing a CPAP full face mask.

Wasn't worth it. I have been just wearing an old sweatband over my mouth for years and that has worked pretty well, but I thought I would try this. The first night I kept waking up with it slipping out of place and air blowing out of my mouth. The second night it was so painful on my gums I kept waking up and just had to switch back to a headband. Glad I didn't buy two!

The third night I was able to use the MouthShield all night. Since then it's been every night, all night. There are some moments during the night I awake to find it dislodged, partly open my mouth. Doesn't happen every night. I don't notice any big difference during the day, now that my CPAP is more effective. I have two CPAP locations. I use one MouthShield at each location, and one MouthShield in reserve.
