Really enjoying the Lupo .72 in Stainless steel. For me it offers a medium to aggressive shave. No problem achieving a bbs result without to much discomfort. I love it & one of my favourites. Is well built with excellent blade alignment. Recommend for those seeking more efficient razor than entry level with excellent comfort for closeness ratio.

Quality - The Way That It Was

Thank you all for being artisans and men who care about the way that things used to be made. The Lupo '72 is a perfect example of the attention to detail in engineering that is necessary to make a masterfully tooled product. I adore the rugged finish, for the mirror finish is so easy to scratch on a tool that is meant to be picked up and put down. The tolerances are unforgiving, and they ensure the blade is clamped absolutely. Also, I cannot lose my grip on the barber pole handle because the knurling is very pointed, so shaving under a running shower head is no problem. Please, continue doing what you do, making grooming tools that people enjoy using because they don't wear out.

Takes a little getting used to coming from a Merkur 34c but it's well worth the change! I bought a 58 plate to get started with and worked my way up to the 72. It gives a great shave with a light touch. I don't have any issues with irritation or nicks. Build quality is bulletproof. Great product!
