Takes a little getting used to coming from a Merkur 34c but it's well worth the change! I bought a 58 plate to get started with and worked my way up to the 72. It gives a great shave with a light touch. I don't have any issues with irritation or nicks. Build quality is bulletproof. Great product!

The Lupo Is Perfect For Me
I just received the Razorock SS Lupo 72, and shaved with it for the first time. This razor is perfect for my purposes. My problem is that although I have a short, trimmed beard and mustache, I have to shave around the edges of my beard and mustache to keep it looking neat, including some awkward, tight spots around the corners of my mouth and under my lower lip. Most other razors are too clumsy, and while I am shaving around the edges of my beard and mustache, I can't see exactly where those edges are. The fact that most double edge safety razors do not let the edge of the blade extend to the corner of the razor head is what causes the problem for me when I detail around the edges of my facial hair in those awkward, tight spots, because I have to use the corner of the head in order to shave there, and the sharp edge of the blade does not go all the way to the corner on most razors that use double edge blades, or on single edge razors that use half of a double edge blade. (This has to do with the design of those blades.) I was just trying to reconcile myself to switching over to one of the razors that use single-edge Artist Club blades, which do have sharp edges that go all the way to the corner of the head, when I received the Lupo. It's great. The person who designed this razor understood the problem I am describing, and solved it by designing cut-outs at the 4 corners, so that the sharp edges of the blade go all the way to the end of the cutting portion of the razor head. Genius. Apparently, no one else has thought of that. This innovation makes detailing in those tight spots much easier. Who are these clever Italian Barber guys? (And, as a bonus, the stainless steel Lupo is very precisely and solidly made. Last razor I will ever have to buy.)

Lupo 72
My first shave with Lupo 72..Wow..it may not be as comfortable with Lupo 58 but it definitely more efficient than Lupo 58 for sure, but don't get me wrong Lupo 72 still give me a comfortable shave i actually don't need to do so much touch up than Lupo 58, now i got both base i can see Lupo 58 are very good for daily or day after quick shave and Lupo 72 can handle weekly shave and still give a comfortable shave for sure..👍👍👍
