Duet Cotton / Linen Weaving Yarn ~ Rust

Great yarn for weaving

I am a new weaver and recently finished several towel projects using Duett. I love both linen and cotton, so having them in this wonderful yarn is fantastic. It was easy to warp, did not break but I did use a slightly lower tension than I would on 100% cotton. The colors are beautiful and is washes well. I hope this yarn will stay available at Gist for a long time :)

Weave in Subtle Colors

Gist’s linen yarn is as strong as you would expect, but what’s different is the pastel and soft shadings you can choose from. Other yarn stores offer bold colors. If you want that then buy on those sites, but if a softer look is what you’re after, get Gist linen.

Love this yarn

I have made several projects now utilizing this yarn. It warps up easily on both my rigid heddle and multi-harness looms. The weaving goes smoothly, and after finishing my towels, table runners etc are soft and beautiful.
