Cute but impossible to unscrew

As title says, they’re very cute, but no matter what I mean tied, I couldn’t get both ends to unscrew in order to attach them to the extended bar I also bought. I ended up cracking one of the pink gems trying, and damaging the sides on the others I did manage to get off. Seeing as there isn’t a bar length option that I was able to find while ordering, I’ll just order from a different site with (admittedly) less cute jewelry to avoid the hassle, frustration, and final disappointment.
