Ching Chiang Shanghai

Shanghai Pac Choy is one of my favourite vegetables. This is not a good time for a review because as soon as it grew to eating size it bolted. I will plant it again after the Solstice to see if that work better. I was very happy to find it in the catalogue this year.

Slow bolting

Very uniform and slow bolting. I will definitely buy more for next planting. If you are looking for greens that bolt slowly then this is for you. It is pretty cold tolerant as well and easy to grow.

Great for winter indoor gardens!

I do grow this fast to harvest variety outdoors in summer but I love it the most for growing in Kratky jars in the winter - fast and easy to grow this way and I always have a harvest.
