We plant them every year, best in spring. They grow well under the 8 inch tall frames we use to keep our cats out of the garden bed. Wonderful raw or lightly cooked, best eaten while wandering around the garden.

Planted as a late season crop.
I was looking for a pea crop that grew less than 24 inches tall. Cascadia lived up to its claims and produced a good late crop. Expecting it to be my main crop this year.
