Super. Was first to come from among other varieties I have seeded. However I cannot comment on how it is performing or on a matter of taste as it is late spring on the prairies here... Long shot yet before it grows to be harvested.

The most beautiful lettuce. So easy to grow and I’m already succession planting so I enjoy these all growing season!

Having had West Coast drop a couple of lettuce varieties we really liked, I'm writing this review to help keep Spretnak in the catalogue. This mini-romaine thrives over a long season, and overwinters well in a cold frame. It forms a crisp interior, surrounded by tasty leaves.
