Picture Day Tee and Skirt 14.5 Inch Doll Clothes Pattern

Difficult to put on.

The skirt is extremely hard to get on both Les Cherie and Wellie Wishers. The waist does not stretch enough to slide easily over their hips. The skirt is as cute as can be, and once on, it fits the waist nicely. Just that little hands (my granddaughter is 6 years old) can’t get it on and off. I made the top to fit the Wellie Wisher and it fits very nice, and is easy to put on and off. I will be remaking this skirt for her, increasing the waist band an inch and also the elastic. I am hoping that will do the trick. The instructions are very good, but I wish the fabric description is a bit clearer. I was uncertain if I should use stretch material or not. I used a mesh that I found in the “gown” section of the fabric store. It does not stretch but drapes beautifully. I made the lining out of light weight cotton.

Patterns for Wellie Wishers

I have yet to use my new patterns, but from all other patterns purchased on this site, I am confident that I will have the same wonderful results. Looking forward to doing further business with you. :)
