Soma Stratus, with Icewine lees

Ice wine absent

Any flavor from the ice wine lees doesn't show through all that much. As a dark chocolate bar it's good. it's a little nicer than your average bar. I would have liked to see a bit more of the ice wine flavors make it through.

Intriguingly delicious

Soma is one of my favorite chocolatiers and this bar is one of the reasons why. The flavor of the icewine lees is delicate and very complementary to the flavor profile of the chocolate.

Like having wine in bar form!

Notes of floral, grape, vanilla, oak and more! A great balance of flavor and acidity! Lovely!
