After upgrading from an entry level square taper bottom bracket. The stiffness leading to improved power transfer was very apparent. No regrets.

reasonably dangerous

a few months after discovering Wabi through Zach Gallardo’s YT, I bent the stock chainring on my old but reliable money pit. I found this crankset, picked up a 16t EAI deluxe rear cog, and went right up to 49/16t. Big and chonky. Arrived quickly, intact, and more or less near mint. Looks so nice on my bike. Rides so smooth and so fast I may or may not have *gently* wrecked twenty miles in to my first casual ride.
