dead and dying plants, no response to emails

I have reached out twice via their direct email address and via the website contact page with no response after 9 days and 2 days respectively. The hornwort I ordered with priority mail on a Thursday, was not delivered until the following Wednesday and about a third of the stems were dead or dying. Why would they send live plants out on a Friday with priority mail if they weren't going to be processed and sent from USPS until Monday? I don't think plants can survive with no sun for five days even if moisture is maintained. I have tried rehabilitating the remainder of the plants left and I'm getting more needle loss and brown stems. I have about 1/4 of the original plants with growing tips and the rest either died or have green stems with unhealthy needles. I wanted to get replacement plants with a faster shipping method as per their live plant guarantee, but the guarantee is worthless if they don't respond.
