Just finished a 1200 mile trip. The Butt Buffer did a great job reducing stress to my seat and lower back. When I received the cushion, I was surprised how substantial the gel pad is. It is a lot heavier than I had expected. Especially compared to other seat pads I had used. The gel cushion does a great job of absorbing energy from the bike. The airflow cover does exactly what is says. It keeps the heat down to an acceptable level. I was on the bike for eight hours at a time, in 92 degree heat, and by pants seat was dry whenever I dismounted the bike. This is the last seat cover I will buy. At least until I wear it out.
lastly, shipping was very fast. From Washington to Maryland in three days. The price was also the lowest I could find. I'll be dealing with LAB more in the future.

I have a Mustang DELUXE TOURING EXTENDED REACH SOLO seat and was looking for just a little more cushion. Gave the butt buffer a try. First trip was almost 1000 miles over two days. I rode the first day with the butt buffer and the second day without. I prefer the seat without it. I put it back on and have been taking short trips and I am starting to appreciate it a little. I think it’s something to put on and ride 50% of the time with it and 50% without in.

Got the large size for my 2026 Road Glide Limited with stock seat
Got the large size for my 2026 Road Glide Limited with the stock seat. The seat is comfy as is but after a couple of hours it starts to bother me. The Butt Buffer gives me just that extra comfort to go just that much further. I don’t use the straps - just sits on top. Plus, when I stop for a break I toss it into the tour pack so that it doesn’t heat up in the sun. A great addition to a great bike.
